Privacy

If you send the form on our contact page, we receive what you typed into it: your email address, and what you told us is not working. We ask for nothing else, and the page sets no cookie.

We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it to contact you about anything other than the enquiry you sent.

To deliver it, we use Resend, an email delivery service based in the United States. Resend sends your enquiry to our inbox, and sends one confirmation email to the address you gave us. It processes your email address and your message for that purpose only, on our behalf, and under its own data processing terms. It is the only party we pass your enquiry to.

When you sign in with Google, Google tells us two things: your email address, and whether Google has verified it. We ask for nothing else. We do not receive your name, your profile photo, your contacts, or anything else in your Google account.

Your email address is compared against the list of people allowed to open the page you asked for. That is its only purpose. It is then stored in a cookie in your browser, so that you are not asked to sign in again on every page. The cookie expires after thirty days, and each visit renews it. Signing out deletes it.

We keep no database of users. Your email address is not stored on our servers.

Our hosting provider, Google Cloud, keeps standard access logs. These record the pages requested, the time, and the network address the request came from. They are kept for thirty days and are used only to keep the site working and secure.

A contact form submission is also written to those application logs, so that an enquiry cannot be lost between the form and the mailbox. It is subject to the same thirty-day retention.

No analytics. No advertising. No tracking pixels. No third-party scripts other than the web fonts served by Google Fonts. We do not sell or rent your data, and we share it with no one other than the service providers named on this page.

You can sign out at any time, which clears the cookie. You can ask us to remove your address from an access list, after which you will no longer be able to open the pages shared with you. Reply to the person who sent you the link and we will action it.

You can ask us to delete an enquiry you sent through the contact form. Write to info@curvedlightsoftware.com and we will action it.
